Fees – for self-funded individuals (I do not offer couples’ or family therapy)

Initial Assessment Consultation (50 minutes) plus brief letter £100
Psychological therapy sessions (50 minutes) £80
Sessions are booked in 1-hour slots, to allow for ten minutes of necessary administration following the departure of the client.

Terms of operation

Please note that this is a term-time service which is not routinely operational in school holidays. Clients self-book appointments using the online NHPS appointment booking system.

Payment of Fees

Currently, self-funded clients can be seen by the service. Payment is due at the time of booking the scheduled appointment, via the NHPS website, using Paypal. No Paypal account is required to make payment, and payments are secure as no bank details are shared with either party.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible via email (or a message via the NHPS website). 24 hours notice is required for cancellation. No refund will be given for non-attended appointments or those cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, as the therapist incurs the same costs as if the appointment had taken place.

The therapist will endeavour to give you as much advance notice as possible of any need to cancel or reschedule a future appointment. Any appointments that need to be rescheduled by the therapist do not incur a cost to the client – the appointment fee can be refunded or applied to the next appointment.


I will need to hold contact information for the following, in case of a safety issue arising:

  • Next of Kin
  • Emergency contact (if different from next of kin)
  • GP contact details

I will be unable to see any patient who is unable to provide GP contact details, in the interest of safety.
